French star Kylian Mbappe saved his country from defeat against its Austrian host, and imposed a 1-1 draw, in the third round of Group A in the first level of the European Nations League.
The Austrian team had advanced with a goal scored by Andreas Wiemann (37), but Mbappe managed to score the equalizer for the French team (83).
France raised its score to two points, but is bottom of the group, while the Austrian team is second with 4 points.
In another match in the same group competition, Croatia won an important victory at its Danish host, with a clean goal.
Despite the defeat, the Danish team maintained the top spot with 6 points, while the Croatian team occupies third place with 4 points, with a goal difference behind the second-placed Austrian team.
Mario Pasalic scored the only goal of the match for the Croatian team in the 69th minute.
