The season of team games (handball, basketball and volleyball), for all age groups, was concluded this week, in a season that witnessed a clear dominance of the Sharjah Club teams, which managed to win 13 titles, out of the 32 championships that formed the season in the categories of men, youth, juniors, cubs and buds.

Six clubs exchanged titles for different championships, but the Sharjah Club teams, despite being limited to basketball and hand games, succeeded in gifting the "King" the top team club with the most titles of the season, with a comfortable difference of five titles over Shabab Al-Ahly club teams in all its Sunni stages in Basketball, volleyball and handball, which ranked second with eight championships, while Al-Nasr came third with seven championships, while Hatta Club ranked fourth with two championships, and a single title for Khorfakkan and Al-Wasl, who shared the fifth place.

Sharjah’s lead came as the culmination of an exceptional season, especially in handball, where the club’s teams crowned the full mark with 11 championships, over which the season extended for all ages, in an unprecedented achievement in the history of the game, distributed as four championships at the men’s level, three in the youth category, and two titles for juniors, And a title for the Cubs and another for the Buds category, before the basketball teams completed the task, bringing the collective games teams in Sharjah Club to 13 championships, crowning the men’s basketball team last September with the Federation Cup title at the opening of the season, and adding the junior team last Saturday the title of their Sunni stage.

A remarkable brilliance for Al-Ahly youth

Al-Ahly youth teams succeeded greatly in the volleyball and basketball games, as the club shared its eight titles, after the basketball teams achieved three titles in men (the League and the President’s Cup, as well as the Vice President’s Cup), in addition to achieving the Youth Basketball League title, It was matched by greater diversity in the plane, especially in the league championship, which was crowned by the "Dubai Knights" in the categories of men, juniors, cubs (A) and cubs (B), and the buds were tied in the rest of the group games.

Al-Nasr confirmed the efficacy of his project in rebuilding the teams of the Sunni stages in basketball, by winning the junior and “Brigadier” cubs the titles of the two league championships for their Sunni stage, before the “Braem” team combines victory with the double of the season by crowning them with the league and cup championships, and the rest of victory’s achievements are limited to other team games. The volleyball men's team won the Vice President's Cup, the President's Cup, and the Super Cup.

The "Hatta" plane flew in the youth stage competitions, crowning the "Hurricane" youth with the double season of their Sunni stage, winning the league and cup championships.

Al-Wasl and Khorfakkan clubs relied on the basket of their Sunni stages to win the group games for both clubs for their only title in the season, after the "Emperor" was crowned with the Youth Basketball Cup title, and it was followed last Sunday and at the end of the season, Khorfakkan won the Cubs Cup title.

He added, "The basketball season witnessed the Sharjah teams' crowning with two titles, the first of which came at the level of men's competitions, and the second at the level of juniors, but with a more comprehensive look, we found that the Sharjah basketball teams in all their Sunni stages succeeded in reaching the final in 11 out of 12 competitions that the season extended. ».
