It is reported that the International Skating Union Congress will be held in Phuket, Thailand from June 6 to 10.
The Ukrainian representative proposed to disqualify the Russian and Belarusian representatives from participating in the conference and running for office before the start of the conference.
Assembly members voted to reject the proposal.
The International Skating Union recently issued a statement saying that the organization allows representatives of Russia and Belarus to participate in the organization's conference and elections; the cancellation of the relevant qualifications of the representatives of the two countries may cause legal risks, or cause the International Court of Arbitration for Sport to intervene and affect the validity of the relevant decisions of the conference.
