A French player defeats Lewandowski for the "best player award" in Germany

A poll of German Football League (Bundesliga) players showed that Leipzig's French striker Christopher Nkunko outperformed Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski, winning the award for the best player in Germany.

Nkunko received a large percentage of the vote, amounting to 42.5 percent, in the poll conducted by "Kicker" magazine, while Lewandowski received 4.11 percent of the vote, despite winning the vote twice.

The participants in the poll considered Karim Benzema, the French striker, Real Madrid, the best player in the world, with 44.9 percent of 167 votes.

The Bundesliga players chose Jurgen Klopp, the coach of the Liverpool team, as the best coach in the world, while Stephen Baumgart, coach of Cologne, was chosen as the best coach in the German League.
