It is expected that the summer transfer market will witness a great deal of activity, especially with regard to contracts with star players “for free”, after the contracts of many of them expire at the end of this month.

The "Summer Mercato" will start next July, amid efforts by several clubs to restore their ranks in preparation for the new season.

Senior players became free from their contracts, and they can determine their destination without trouble, perhaps the most prominent of them are the former star of Al-Ain and Al-Jazira, and Al-Ahly youth, Omar Abdul Rahman “Amouri” (31 years), as there were no signs of imminent agreement between the two parties to extend the contract, At a time when there were leaks about his transfer in a free transfer deal to Al-Wasl, the "Al-Asfar" administration remains silent about that deal.

Amouri's colleague in Al-Ahly youth, Majed Hassan, became close to the summer transfer market, because there were no confirmations regarding the intention of Al-Ahly youth to extend the player's contract.

The survival of a group of big stars in their clubs is questionable, due to the expiry of their current contracts without their administrations showing any intention to extend them, or that the performance of some of them did not rise to the required level last season, or due to differences related to their salaries or contract periods.

During the last six months, the name Majed Hassan was associated with many clubs, most notably Al Ain and Sharjah.

And the former Al-Ahly youth star, Ahmed Khalil, preferred to postpone his transfer move in the “last winter Mercato”, for the new season, after he ended his relationship with Al-Ahly youth by mutual consent.

Once again, the name of the best player in Asia 2015 was put forward, as the most prominent star players available for free in the next Mercato, and his name was linked to Al Wasl and Al Bataeh.

On the other hand, the national team striker, Tigali, tops the list of those departing from the victory list.

It is reported that he is negotiating with more than one club, led by Shabab Al-Ahly.

On the other hand, the right-back, Mohamed Fawzy, continued with his club Al-Nasr, after a period of doubt, as his contract was renewed for two seasons.

And the position of the trio of unity, Faris Jumaa, Khamis Ismail and Mahmoud Khamis, became ambiguous, in light of the expiry of my first and second contracts, and the failure to resolve the issue of “Khamis” regarding extending his loan with Al-Nasr.

The players' agent, Walid Al Shamsi, said that the entry of a large number of local stars to the transfer market would not be a big surprise this season in particular, due to the decision of the Professional League to increase the number of foreign players in the list of each club.

He added to "Emirates Today": "The player transfer market is governed by a basic rule, which is supply and demand, and previously the number of available citizen players was very few, and it was causing limited transfers, but things are different this season, in light of the new regulations issued by the association, most notably Increasing the number of foreign players and reducing the lists of each club, which has made it easier for clubs to bring deals that fit their technical and financial plans easily, and encourages them to dispense with prominent names.

He continued, "The club administrations will be able to conclude special deals with big stars at much lower prices than before."

He explained: "One of the positive things that some clubs have worked on and started reaping its fruits is the interest in the base of young players, who have begun to appear during the past two seasons, and are now qualified to compensate for the departure of these big stars, and their financial cost is also much less than what one star requires to stay in his club." .
