Australian Korean-American Lee Min-ji is getting closer to winning the US Women's Open golf.



In the third round of the competition at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina, USA, Lee Min-ji took the solo lead with a 13-under-par 200 while she shot 4 under-par 67, USA.



She increased her chances of claiming her $1.8 million winning prize by three strokes out of her co-leader Mina Harigae of the United States in the second round.



World No. 4 Lee Min-ji has reached the top of the U.S. women's professional golf tour seven times so far, and she won her first major at the Amundi Evian Championship last year.
