Egypt performed poorly in its first match since failing to reach the World Cup finals after losing to Senegal on penalties.

The most dangerous opportunity for the owner of the land came in the first half with a header from Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wansh in the 28th minute, but goalkeeper Ibrahima Kony eliminated the danger.

Captain Mohamed Salah, who was honored by the Egyptian Federation before the match, hit a free kick at the beginning of the second half, which fell from the goalkeeper's hand and bounced back to Hamdi Fathi, but the Guinea defense pushed it to a corner.

Guinea almost surprised Egypt at the beginning of the second half, but Terno Barry's shot went past Mohamed Abu Jabal's goal.

Kony saved a powerful shot from Omar Jaber as Egypt tried to threaten Guinea's goal.

Jalal, who took over after the departure of Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, brought in many substitutes, but without any change.

Egypt snatched the lead when the ball reached Mustafa inside the penalty area to hit it and hit the Guinea defense to the far corner of Kony's goal.
