It is seven strokes up to leader Minjee Lee for both Ingrid Lindblad and Anna Nordqvist, split fours, before the final round of the difficult-to-play Pine Needles in North Carolina.

22-year-old Lindblad is an amateur and is not even allowed to receive the prize money where a fourth place is worth SEK 4.6 million.

- It is fantastic that Ingrid was able to shoot 65 strokes on such a difficult course, it takes so little for it to roll away.

Then I think it's even more impressive that she can stay with two 71 rounds, says Alfredsson.

It is a long way to the Australian Lee in the lead but to the third place and the English Bronte Law it is only one stroke.

"Nordqvist has a game that suits majors"

- Seven strokes is a lot but not impossible, but the greens have become harder and faster and it can roll on so it is not impossible, says 57-year-old Alfredsson who won Major ANA Inspiration in 1993 and is happy that the young new girls are taking on .

- We also have Maja Stark and Linn Grant who won.

It's so fun to see, we need some new girls in Swedish golf, says Alfredsson.

If Lindblad is an amateur, 34-year-old Nordqvist has all the more merits with, among other things, three major victories, two of which in the US Open.

- Anna has a tendency to point to all the majors.

She has a game that suits majors where she hits fairways and greens.

So who will be the best Swedish?

- Always hard to say.

May the best woman win, Alfredsson laughs.
