The 18-year-old American has not had her funniest days.
She took the tennis world and the French championships by storm, but she still leaves with a hanging head - she lost both finals.
The French home jumps in the doubles final, Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic, proved to be the number too big despite the best possible start.
The Americans won the first set 6-2 before Garcia and Mladenovic woke up and decided the match with two straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.
