The Spanish newspaper "MARCA" monitored the 20 most expensive players in the football transfer market in the world for the next season 2022-2023, through a shocking list that reflects the extent of the decline of the Spanish League against its English counterpart.

The list is based on evaluating the real value of the players and not the amounts paid for their transfer, noting that some of them may leave the competition in which they play.

The English Premier League players swept the undisputed list with 14 players, including 5 players from Manchester City, led by newly transferred Erling Haaland to the crowned title, while the list included only two players from the Spanish League and two from the German League, topped by Kylian Mbappe, the top scorer in the French League.
