Sweden had started the 2022 European Silver League with two straight victories against Slovenia and Luxembourg, respectively, without losing a single set.

But already in the first set of the match, the suite ended.

The Swedish team, however, bit back and managed to equalize twice, first to 1-1 after excellent block play in front of the net, and later to 2-2.

In the fifth and decisive set, it was the guests who went up to an 8-1 lead earlier and the lead became too big.

Sweden lost the set despite saving several match balls.

Thus, the loss zero in the competition disappeared.

Sweden, however, gets one point while Portugal takes double.

- Portugal has been much smoother seen over these five sets.

Sweden has had high peaks but also some a bit too deep valleys, says SVT's expert Andrea Jacobsson.

The next match for Sweden is away match Estonia on Wednesday, after which return meetings start with the team.

July 2, the final is played where the winners go up to the Golden League.
