“There is still time to bring the cup back to its senses.

This is the message that Amnesty International wishes to bring to five months from the World Cup, organized by Qatar from November 21 to December 18.

Mobilized for several years to highlight the working conditions on site, the NGO does not let go.

Last year, the

Guardian

estimated that 6,500 migrant workers had died on the World Cup sites since 2010. On its site, Amnesty thus proposes to encourage Kylian Mbappé, N'Golo Kanté, Antoine Griezmann, Karim Benzema and Paul Pogba "to support and defend the rights” of migrant workers.

With a tweet or a pre-written email, which only has to be sent to the players by clicking on the dedicated button.

.@AntoGriezmann Qatar is coming soon.

There, you will meet these migrant people who work for the Mondial in unworthy conditions;

wage theft, forced labor, threats...

Like your Danish colleagues, support them publicly #BringtheCupforReason

With an example to follow, Denmark.

“Behind their captain, and with the support of their national federation, they got their sponsors to remove their logos from their training shirts when they are in Qatar, to display a message in favor of human rights.

We only ask you one thing: to clearly express your solidarity with those who continue to live a nightmare in Qatar.
