In the absence of regular captain Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, Emil Forsberg had to shoulder the role of team captain in the Nations League match against Slovenia.
But in the 65th minute Forsberg took off the captain's armband and gave it to defender Joakim Nilsson who gave it to goalkeeper Robin Olsen.

- I thought I would be exchanged so then I gave it to "Jocke", I saw number ten (on the board).
