A week after the scenes of chaos around the Stade de France, the pressure still does not come down.

This time, it was

defense of [its] supporters who were victims of these events

".

The Madrid formation first of all demands explanations on the choice of Saint-Denis for the organization of this meeting, withdrawn on February 25 in Saint Petersburg due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

We also demand answers and explanations to determine who is responsible for leaving fans unguarded and helpless.

Supporters whose general behavior has been exemplary at all times

, continues Real Madrid.

As the uplifting media images showed, many fans were violently assaulted, harassed, attacked and robbed.

These events also took place while they were traveling by car or bus, fearing for their physical integrity.

Some of them even had to spend the night in the hospital because of their injuries

 ”.

Damning testimonials

Since May 28, many videos and testimonials support the comments of English and Spanish visitors flabbergasted by

the situation on the sidelines of the meeting, which started more than 30 minutes late

,” reacted

French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin

to the press after an interministerial meeting organized on these malfunctions, on May 30.

A statement that made

the British authorities and Liverpool FC officials

jump .

“

Our supporters deserve an answer but also that the relevant responsibilities be released so that situations like those experienced that evening are eradicated forever from football and sport

”, concludes for its part Real Madrid.
