• News Tebas demands from Rubiales the 267 million that the Federation has not justified

  • Analysis The keys to deciphering what Rubiales says and is silent: ethical nuances, evasions and conflicts of interest

Luis Rubiales and Javier Tebas have continued this Tuesday with the eternal war between the two main football organizations in Spain, the Federation and the League.

After the investigations opened to the president of the RFEF after the publication of several audios that could compromise his future at the head of Spanish football, this Tuesday it was the turn of the president of the League.

According to some audios to which 'OK Diario' has had access, Tebas would have assured that "you have to kill" Rubiales and that Alejandro Blanco, president of the Spanish Olympic Committee, is "an element to kill" because "he is the one who is saving my ass" to the president of the RFEF.

After the publication of the content of the audios, Tebas has accused Rubiales of sending "a false complainant" to a meeting, in which he would have appeared "with one of his pen-recorders to record how I react to his complaints."

In addition, he denounces the "obsession" of the president of the Federation "for spying and recording everyone".

"It doesn't stop and it has no limits," he concludes.

At noon this Tuesday, the Federation issued a statement announcing that its Legal Department "is studying the information in order to address all possible relevant legal actions", and again accuses Tebas of "conspiring in a plot where it is about capturing or advising federal employees with the aim of killing Rubiales and Alejandro Blanco".

Finally, and within the framework of Spain's candidacy for the organization of the 2030 World Cup, the highest body of Spanish football "expresses its deep concern about the relevance and significance of these statements."

"The RFEF wants to serenely convey to all football agents that it is time for unity and work with the mind set on continuing to build together the present and future of Spanish football."
