Allen Hachimura, the younger brother of Rui Hachimura, who plays in the NBA = American professional basketball, has agreed to sign a contract with Gunma Crane Thunders of the B League B1.

Rui Hachimura's younger brother, Allen, is 22 years old from Toyama prefecture, and is characterized by his defensive strength and active play, taking advantage of his height of 1 meter and 98 centimeters and weight of 98 kilograms.

Among the players of the same generation, he has a top-class track record, and since December last year when he was a fourth grader at Tokai University, he joined Gunma as a "specially designated player" who even students can play in the B league.

And on June 1st, the team announced that they had reached a basic agreement with Hachimura for next season's contract.

Hachimura participated in 19 games this season, which he played as a specially designated player, and scored 35 points in total.

His position is mainly a power forward that competes near the goal, but taking advantage of the high probability of three-point shooting, he is expected to play a role as a small forward that requires scoring ability in the future.

Hachimura commented, "I am delighted to be able to play as a member of the Gunma Crane Thunders next season. I would like to contribute to the team's victory so that I can go to the championship stage."
