Frida Karlsson said yesterday that they tried to reach an agreement with the union and that they tried to compromise, without success.

Among other things, they wanted to have more time with their coaches and not go to national team camps.

- We presented a proposal with a compromise where we removed the compensation completely in exchange for more days at home.

But it did not go through, Frida Karlsson said yesterday.

Lars Öberg, length manager, tells Morgonstudion that changes have been made to try to come to a solution.

- We have made adjustments.

We have reduced the number of camps, we have historically never had so few camp days as we have this year.

We have listened to them (Frida Karlsson and Maja Dahlqvist) and that they want to have more time with their coaches outside the national team.

We have full respect for that, they must have it, says Öberg who continues:

- But somewhere it is also not possible to have a national team structure that is based on maybe three, four or 14 different individuals' structure.

We must still maintain a certain cohesion of the law and national unity in how we want it.

Then it's a shame we did not manage to agree.

"No hard feelings"

They must also have offered the skiers to take their coaches to the national team camps.

Öberg also talks about the feelings around their departure.

- We also offered that they could take their coaches to camp.

I think it's very boring but for me there are no "hard feelings" against Frida or Maja.

They are very nice people, it's just sad that we ended up here.
