Second (very) good news for the Rouge et Bleu after the announcement of Kylian Mbappé's extension.

Indeed, Paris Saint-Germain confirmed on Tuesday that they had exercised the option to buy Portuguese left-back Nuno Mendes, estimated at 40 million euros, after a successful one-season loan.

The 19-year-old defender, trained at Sporting Portugal (2015-2021), "is now linked to the Parisian club until June 30, 2026", announced the reigning French champion.

The young Portuguese international (13 caps) played 37 games with PSG, where his speed and outbursts on the left wing conquered the club and the fans.

Shortcomings in the side positions were filled by the capital club at the start of the season with the arrival on loan of Mendes, on the left, and the recruitment of Moroccan Achraf Hakimi (23), on the right, for nearly 60 million euros from Inter Milan.
