Edvin Kurtulus has had a great spring season with Hammarby.

Something that led all the way to Janne Andersson's national team.

The midfielder has represented Kosovo at U21 level and was also selected for the A national team.

But after being selected for Kosovo, it became clear that he had chosen to invest in Sweden.

The 22-year-old has since been met with hatred on social media.

- There is a lot of hatred.

Both on sms and on social media.

But it's something I'm trying to shut down and instead focus on my performance that I have to do on the pitch.

It's something I've had to deal with and not put so much focus on.

But Kurtulus admits that it has been difficult.

How good are you at shutting down?

- It is easy to say that you are good but it is not so easy.

It can not be avoided but I still try to turn off notifications so I do not see anything.

- I have tried not to care so much about what they say.

No matter what choice I made, I was hated.

In the end, I have to feel for what is best for me, and that was Sweden, says Edvin Kurtulus.
