The conclusion of the fourth edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Chess Academy Championship.. and Geforjian crowned the title

The player Maria Gevorgyan from Armenia crowned the title of the fourth edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy for Ladies’ Blitz Chess Championship, which concluded its competitions at the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazaa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, President of the Abu Dhabi Club For Ladies and Al Ain Ladies Club, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mind Games Club, with the participation of nearly 100 players from 17 nationalities, they competed for financial prizes of 33,000 dirhams, with the largest participation from the UAE with 41 players, followed by the Indian community with eight players.

The winners were Naama Al-Mansoori and Amal Al-Afifi, members of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mind Games Club Aref Al-Khoury, Head of the Technical Staff of the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mind Games Club Suhail Al-Awadi, and Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Chess and Games Club Al-Fakhiyah, Chairman of the Marketing and Corporate Communications Committee Khaled Al-Shamsi.

 Jevorgian won first place after running nine rounds and competed with Angelia Stojanovic from Serbia and won second place, and Mehri Geldeva from Kyrgyzstan, who holds the title of International Master (WGM), and Kosha Sheksi won the smallest participation award. At the age of 4 years, six prizes were distributed to the best Emirati players in the tournament, which included a wide participation of world-ranked names, which gave them double technical strength, emphasizing their strong presence and artistic influence. The tournament was a success for the system of the referees committee, led by the international referee Saeed Al Khoury from the UAE, and Bogdan Garbia from Romania.
