In a short time, Isabelle Gulldén has become an audience favorite in Vipers Kristiansand.

When she played her last home game for the Norwegian big club on Tuesday, it was an emotional farewell.

Gulldén, who has broken his contract prematurely and moves home to Sweden after the season, was in tears after the match.

- The family goes first, it is one hundred percent right, even if it is sad for us to lose Bella, says Viper's coach Ole Gustav Gjekstad.

It was in February that the news came and the sudden turn of his career.

Gulldén will not fulfill his agreement with the Norwegian club.

Instead, she chooses to move home to the Swedish league after eleven years abroad.

Gulldén has previously said that one of the reasons for the move is that her sister has suffered from cancer.

When the news came, Gulldén was given time off to go home and meet his sister.

- It was extremely tough, you can not explain that situation when she calls and tells it ... It was the worst I experienced.

Champions League play-offs next weekend

After this weekend's league victory, Isabelle Gulldén has a task left in her Norwegian club: Next weekend's final game in the Champions League, where Gulldén can secure her second CL title in her career.

Then games in Lugi await next season.

- It is not the case that I will train less, but it is clear that it will be more important with another part outside of handball.

In the past I have been selfish in many ways, but then I had children and it became different.

And then came my sister's message about cancer, then handball ends up further down and the family means more and more, that's why I decided to move home.

Is it hard to move on with your own life and continue to play handball at such a high level?

- Both.

It's nice to have something else to think about, to disconnect the brain because you go with constant worry and waiting, you have constant anxiety and pressure in the chest, so in a way, once you get on the plane, maybe you have something else to think about even if it is constantly in the back of your mind.
