Forty-one years later Liverpool and Real Madrid meet in the Champions League final in Paris.

Ok for those who like precision in 1981, the Reds beat Madrid (1-0) at the Parc des Princes in the final of the Champions Clubs Cup.

And this Saturday, the two teams meet at the Stade de France.

And that announces a red tide in Paris.

With or without ticket.

A fan-zone located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, Cours de Vincennes, is reserved for Liverpool fans.

In this one, we will find natives of the banks of the Mersey but also Parisian fans of the Reds.

Among them, Rodolpho Amaya, president of the Official Liverpool Supporters Club France of Liverpool.

Around 60,000 Liverpool fans are expected in Paris on Saturday.

Are you in contact with these supporters?

Yes, our association is in contact with all the other international supporters of the LFC.

The supporters' club is very organized, with more than 300 branches internationally.

The Official Liverpool Supporters Club de France has been part of this network since the 2000s.

Will you welcome Reds fans to Paris?

Sure !

Besides, we don't welcome them only on Saturdays.

From this Friday evening, we are organizing a party in a room near the Gare du Nord with supporters from all over the place.

We will try to recreate a Liverpuldian atmosphere with our original diversity.

We therefore organized this evening in partnership with The Indian Reds and The Anfield Wrap, Indian and English associations that support the LFC.

On the program: songs led by a guitarist and a DJ known in Liverpool.

A 40,000-seat fan-zone will welcome Reds supporters, Cours de Vincennes.

Are you satisfied with this location?

Yes, but only if we manage to have transport that allows us to go back and forth.

Strike announcements are multiplying, and it could become complicated.

Apart from that, we are very satisfied because it is a very beautiful place.

What are your plans for Saturday night?

I will surely pass by Vincennes, but many TV channels want to come and see the supporters in our two headquarters: the Lush Bar in the 17th arrondissement, and The Kop Bar in the 18th arrondissement.

So I will probably go back and forth during the evening.

The fan zone of Madrid supporters will be in Saint-Denis.

Is there a risk of clashes between supporters of the two clubs?

No.

We have a common history in the Champions League final, with the victory of the Reds in 1981 and that of Real in 2018. But there is no animosity between supporters, no spirit of revenge.
