  The announcement stated that the scale of the Chinese Super League in the 2022 season will be 18 clubs, and the Dalian Professional Football Club will be qualified for the 2022 Chinese Super League.

In addition, Shanghai Jiading Huilong Football Club has obtained the supplementary qualification for the 2022 Chinese League One.

The Chinese U-19 national men's football team will no longer form a team to participate in the 2022 Chinese Second League, and the scale of participation in the 2022 Chinese Second League will be 18 clubs.

  In addition, the league will add a new temporary domestic transfer window. Each Chinese Super League, China League One and China League Two clubs can transfer up to three professional players from the former Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football Club respectively within the newly added temporary domestic transfer window.

  China League One: May 27 to June 15, 2022;
