A spokesman for Aston Martin, Vettel's team, said the latter had "tried to find the bag using his iPhone to locate the headphones that were inside".

“But when he managed to locate the earphones, they had been abandoned and he was therefore unable to locate the stolen bag,” the spokesperson added.

said that the thieves would have suspected, correctly, that the headphones could be equipped with a GPS and had got rid of them for this reason.
