Sandstorm in Kuwait postpones competitions in the Gulf Games

The sandstorm and the lack of visibility on all roads in Kuwait led to the postponement of all evening competitions for the Gulf Games, which were scheduled for Monday, until tomorrow, with the exception of e-sports, given that they will be held inside closed halls, in order to ensure the safety of all participating delegations.


UAE sports occupies so far the fifth place in the general ranking table with 27 colored medals (9 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze). Second place with a total of 45 medals (17 gold, 16 silver, 12 bronze), Qatar ranked third with a total of 39 medals (12 gold, 15 silver and 12 bronze), followed by Oman in fourth place with 25 medals (11 gold, 5 silver, and 9 bronze). Saudi Arabia is in sixth place with a total of 34 medals (7 gold, 9 silver, and 18 bronze).
