The World Cup Final Security Mile Conference kicks off

The work of the last mile security conference for the World Cup (Qatar 2022), which is organized by the Security and Safety Operations Committee of the World Cup (Qatar 2022), began this morning at the Intercontinental Doha Hotel, with wide international and local participation, with the aim of emphasizing the security readiness of the State of Qatar to host the World Cup. Find out about the latest security preparations needed for the tournament, enhance police cooperation, and follow up on the implementation of security plans and strategies in cooperation with partners at the local, regional and international levels.



More than 40 delegations representing the qualifying countries for the tournament, in addition to representatives from the United Nations, the International Federation of Football, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Defense, the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), the World Cup Partnership, and the Criminal Police Organization will participate in the conference. International (Interpol), the European Police Service (Europol), as well as representatives from other relevant parties, as its work includes an introduction to the tournament, assessment of security risks and challenges, the approach to security planning, security procedures for the facilities of the tournament, cybersecurity requirements in the tournament, and communication and cooperation with international partners.
