Solberg was forced to mech on the stretch together with Elliott Edmondson and finally managed to get to the goal and made it to the next stretch with a narrow margin.
Unfortunately, the accident happened quickly again and Solberg and Edmondson are forced to break the rally after the same thing happened again on stretch 14.
- We tried everything to fix it and worked for almost an hour and in the end we got it fixed.
We finished the stretch and made it to the next time check with just a few seconds to spare!
- But unfortunately the same thing happened again on SS14 so it must be a bigger problem.
We did absolutely everything we could, but had to break for the day because we have reached the maximum time.
The car is completely undamaged otherwise so it is very sad.
We take the car back to service tonight investigating, says Oliver Solberg in social media.
It is currently unclear whether Solberg will be able to restart tomorrow.
