There have not been many points for the newcomers in damallsvensken.
Kalmar and Umeå had six and seven points each after nine games played - and in the meeting at Guldfågeln arena, one of the teams could take a much-needed three-pointer.
And it became Kalmar.
Kemppi two-goal shooter
It was intense from the start.
Juliette Kemppi shot in 1-0 for the home team after four minutes.
However, it was not long before the receipt came.
Henna-Riika Honkanen nodded in 1-1 after a corner seven minutes later - but it would be a third goal before a quarter was played.
On the return, Kemppi answered with 2-1.
Umeå chased a new receipt and it came a quarter of an hour later.
Honkanen played it to Lisa Björk, who scored 2-2 and her third goal of the season.
"Is OK"
- It's okay anyway.
It goes back and forth quickly.
They are putting a lot of pressure and I think it is difficult for us to establish an attacking game, says Lisa Björk in Viaplay at half time.
In the second half, it was not as goal-intensive.
But a decision was chased and with half an hour left came 3-2 to Kalmar through Alyssa Walker.
She reached the ball in front of goalkeeper Erin Nayler and defender Lisa Dahlqvist and put it in the net.
