THE ESSENTIAL
The final of the FC Barcelona - Olympique Lyonnais Women's Champions League will start this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.

Here are the probable team compositions.

And here we are, after a year of hibernation, for a classic meeting at the end of May: the final of the Women's Champions League in the presence of OL.
Because the killer stat is there: the Lyonnaises will take part, this Saturday (7 p.m.) in Turin, in their 10th final out of… the last 13 editions of the premier event in Europe.
A "wow" is needed, isn't it?
But for the first time, or almost, we want to say that the seven-time European champion is not necessarily a favorite against FC Barcelona, as the Catalan club is gaining momentum.
Defending champion, with the last Ballon d'Or Alexia Putellas in its ranks, Barça has just been crowned champion of Spain with 24 points ahead of Real Sociedad (2nd), and no less than 5.3 goals registered on average!
It therefore smacks of very big opposition, and a much more undecided outcome than in the 2019 final already opposing OL to Barça, when a hat-trick was scored in the first half hour to shoot down all suspense (4-1).
