24-year-old He Wujia is from Baoqing Village, Baiwu Town, Yanyuan County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. His parents are authentic farmers, and he has two older brothers. The family conditions are relatively difficult.

He Wuxia, who has been fond of sports since childhood, showed his running talent since he was a child.

But in the eyes of her coach and her parents, He Wuxia can achieve today's results because of the unremitting persistence, hard work, and hard work behind her talent.

On the road of professional athlete, He Wujia has not been easy to walk. Due to the constraints of her family, she only began to receive systematic training after she entered junior high school.

The support of her father, He Haiwa, was crucial to the Yi girl's dream-chasing journey.

He Haiwa recalled that his daughter liked sports since she was a child, and there was no court in the village, so he made a simple ball stand for her; without a coach, he accompanied her daughter to exercise in the mountains and fields.

In order to provide his daughter with good training conditions, He Haiwa also accompanied He Wujia to participate in training in Chengdu, Nanchong and other places.

During her daughter's training, He Haiwa, who had no fixed source of income, would look for job opportunities on the spot, slept in the park, worked as a security guard, and did her best to help her daughter pursue her dreams bravely.

With the encouragement of love, despite the difficult conditions, He Wuxia never complained, but continued to struggle and progress with an optimistic, positive, sunny outlook and perseverance.

She said that the hardships and sweat she had endured made her more willing to give, and strengthened her determination to walk out of the mountains, out of Sichuan and into the world.

In 2018 and 2019, He Wuxia did not achieve ideal results. She was once depressed and even doubted whether she should continue to insist on the track and field events that she has loved for many years.

With the encouragement of her family, coaches and classmates, she regained her confidence.

After more than a year of training adjustment and improvement, He Wuxia won the sixth place in the 5,000-meter long-distance running and the third place in the 10,000-meter long-distance running at the 14th National Games held in September 2021, and was selected as a Chinese national Athletics team.

Due to the needs of professional development, He Wujia often needs to go to many places for training and learning.

Everywhere she went, she got along very well with her classmates, teammates, and coaches, and because of her cheerful personality, she became everyone's "pistachio".
