Kim Amb injured himself during the Diamond League premiere in Doha last week.

After the first throw, he took care of the groin and stood over the rest of the competition.

The 31-year-old now says that it is about a lighter feeling in the groin.

- It feels completely okay, it's not about any giant stuff.

I have been on ultrasound which showed that it was a superficial bleeding but the muscle looks fine, says Kim Amb.

- I already felt in the warm-up that it could be something, so it would have been stupid to continue and risk the season, says the javelin thrower.

Aiming for Stockholm

On June 30, the javelin competitions are back on the Diamond League program, and then Amb hopes to be back.

- I'll be there.

Until then, it is important to take it easy.

- It takes well 10-14 days before it has healed.

Now it is simply a matter of taking it easy.

The next Diamond League competition is in Birmingham on May 21, but then without the javelin competition on the program.
