The UAE wins Bahrain in basketball at the opening of the Gulf Games

The national basketball team achieved a well-deserved victory over its Bahraini counterpart, which came by five points, with a result (71-66), in a match that brought them together today, Monday, in the opening basketball competitions in the third Gulf Games, currently being held in Kuwait and extending until May 31.


The national team succeeded in overturning its delay against its Bahraini counterpart at the end of the first quarter "9-19", after the "Al-Abyad" players regained their balance, and imposed their rhythm on the rest of the match, which led them to gain the advantage with the results of the second, third, and then fourth quarters by "24- 15, 20-15, 18-15", and win the match.


Tomorrow, the national team will meet its Saudi counterpart, for the second round of the preliminary round, to enter “Al-Abyad”.
