Find out the highest rating for an Arab player in the yellow ball courts

Tunisian Anas Jaber has become the highest Arab player in the WTA rankings, after her rise, Monday, to sixth place, the best in her career, following her arrival on Sunday to the final of the Rome 1,000th tournament on clay courts.

Jaber, the first Arab woman to enter the list of the top ten in the world last year, advanced this year to distinguished levels, after she was crowned ten days ago with the title of the Madrid 1,000th Tournament, the largest in her career and the second after the English Birmingham last year.

On Sunday, she reached the final of the Rome tournament, which she lost against the Polish world number one, Iga شفيewentek, after a hard journey to the top match.

And she had previously reached the final of the Charleston Championships this year, losing against Swiss Belinda Bencic.

In addition to her recent levels, Jaber (27 years old) will be one of the most prominent candidates to reach the final of the Roland Garros tournament, the second Grand Slam, which begins on May 22.

The Tunisian advanced to sixth place at the expense of the Czech Karolina Pliskova, who fell to the eighth, while the Belarusian Arina Sabalenka also advanced to seventh, in the three changes to the list of the top ten.

Šviontik is out of the fray after her fifth title this year, four of them in the thousand sessions after Doha, Indian Wells and Miami.

In men, Serbian Novak Djokovic clings to the lead after winning his sixth title in the Rome Masters on Sunday by defeating Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, confirming that he is ready to defend his title in Roland Garros.

For his part, the Greek advanced to fourth place at the expense of Spaniard Rafael Nadal, who was eliminated from the final price in Rome after suffering from a foot injury in the match he lost against Canadian Denis Shapovalov, in anticipation of his readiness for the French Open, which he won 13 times (a record).
