FIDE has extended the permission for Russian chess players to play under the flag of the federation

To obtain permission to play at international competitions under the FIDE flag, Russian and Belarusian chess players must send a request to the federation, the organization's press service reports.

Recall, FIDE allowed Russians and Belarusians to compete under the flag of the organization until May 31.

At the same time, the ban on holding official chess competitions in Russia and Belarus will continue to apply.
