Despite Liverpool's penalty victory yesterday, there was some concern among the team's supporters, ahead of the end of the league and the Champions League.

This was when both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk were forced to retire.

Salah already after half an hour, when he took care of the groin.

van Dijk before the extension, it is unclear why.

But he had not been replaced once before this season, so there was concern that he was suffering from an injury.

"Feels perfectly okay"

But after the match, man Jürgen Klopp calmed the anxious.

- Replacing Mohamed Salah was mostly for preventive purposes.

Mo said "I feel something, but I can continue".

Yes and "No".

A football match is not very good for physiotherapy purposes, it rarely gets much better.

And then "Virg" stood with me and said that he felt something, but thought it would go well, he said at a press conference, and continued a little later:

- I talked to both after the match, and both feel completely okay.

All we know now is that there is no major concern, but they have done well.

But the next match is ready on Tuesday, and it's pretty soon.

I think both will be ready.

- We have training tomorrow (read: today), and if they then say that they are completely healthy, I would be surprised, but we will see afterwards.
