After a dream start and goal after two minutes, Sweden had 2-1 with them before the second period.

But once there, they lost the game advantage they had.

Austria worked their way into the match and were also extremely close to equalizing when Brian Lebler hit the post.

A 2-2 goal really hung in the air when Joakim Nordstöm made sure to give Tre Kronor some breathing space.

Dahlin near solo goal

The 30-year-old worked his way in front of the checkout and was in the right place when Mathias Bromé went on a shot from outside.

The puck slipped between the legs of the goalkeeper and slid slowly towards the goal line when Nordström poked the puck into goal.

- It's tight.

It is a good team we meet, we have to rise a little more, Bromé said after the second period.

Halfway into the final period, Rasmus Dahlin was close to expanding the Swedish lead.

The buffalo player was responsible for a nice solo show when he took his in front of goal and went on shots.

Kellman stepped forward first

Joel Kellman was behind the Swedish management in the first period.

First he put 1-0, nicely served by Carl Klingberg behind goal, and then he played Max Friberg with a perfect pass in front of goal.

Friberg pulled straight ahead and put 2-0 up close.

- Cool of course.

All nice to get a good start, says Kellman about his first period.

For Sweden, a new match awaits tomorrow when they meet the Czech Republic.
