Kelly Meafua was 31 years old.
The third line of the US Montauban (Pro D2) died accidentally on the night of Friday to Saturday, after jumping from a bridge into the Tarn river after a festive night marking a new victory for the Tarn-et-Garonne team.
Faced with this tragedy, the club in shock relays this Tuesday the online kitty created by his teammates to support the family of the Samoan player.
“In homage to the Dad he is and would have been,” says the club in mourning.
Kelly Meafua was the father of three children and his wife Priscilla is pregnant with a baby girl due in August.
In this drama, Kelly leaves behind a family, his wife Priscilla who was expecting a baby.
Here is the kitty launched by his teammates to be able to support them.
