The International Motor Sports Federation, FIA, has decided ahead of this weekend's F1 competition in Miami that drivers are not allowed to wear jewelry and underwear that violates safety rules.

Lewis Hamilton responded to the rules by wearing three watches, eight rings and several earrings at a press conference before the competition.

Now Sebastian Vettel has also joined in the protests.

When the German arrived at the competition, he was wearing a pair of underpants above his overalls.

Climate protest

Vettel also took a stand in the fight against climate change at the driver presentation before today's race.

When he stepped out at the presentation, he did so in a t-shirt with the text “Miami 2060. The first underwater GP.

Act now or swim later ”.

Vettel is known for being happy to raise and protest against various things in connection with Formula 1 races and has, among other things, campaigned against littering and other environmental issues before.

The Miami GP starts tonight at 9.30 pm.
