An Arab idea put forward by the Lebanese "Formula 1" commentator Khalil Bashir, and his fellow businessman, Hrag Sargsyan, has turned into a tangible reality, with the birth of the World Electric Scooter Racing Championship, which will take place on May 13 and 14, in its first races from the British capital, London.

The Arab idea has attracted the attention of two well-known names in the world of former first class racing, the former driver and head of the Austrian Grand Prix Drivers Association, Alex Wurz, and the Brazilian Formula E world champion Lucas de Grassi, in adopting the idea of ​​the new championship, which bears various goals, foremost of which is promoting Sustainability in global cities, promoting the low cost, ease and convenience of short-distance transportation in the rapidly evolving world of electric mobility.

The tournament will tour sites that are considered landmarks in the heart of various European cities in addition to the United States of America, as it follows the opening round of London, by heading to the Swiss city of Nyon on May 27 and 29, before moving in its third round to France on June 17 and 18, and then Italy on July 15 and 16 this year, Spain on September 16 and 17, and the season tours in America come to an end on October 6.
