Yesterday, Sunday, the Dispute Resolution Committee of the Saudi Football Association decided to ban Al-Hilal player Mohammed Kanoo for 4 months, in addition to depriving his team of contracting new players for two periods.

Al Hilal had announced the renewal of this player until 2025, and his contract expired this season in January.

But Al-Nasr filed a complaint, indicating that he contracted with Kno during the last six months of his contract.

The Dispute Resolution Committee said in its decision, on the Saudi Federation website, that it obligated Kno and Al Hilal to pay a financial compensation of 27 million Saudi riyals to Al-Nasr.

In its decision, the committee added, "It is proven that the player Mohamed Kno terminated the contract concluded on January 3, 2022 with Al-Nasr Club, without a legitimate reason or a legitimate sporting reason."

And she continued, "Kno and Al Hilal - in solidarity - are obligated to pay financial compensation to Al-Nasr in the amount of 7.5 million riyals (more than two million dollars), which is the first payment delivered to the player from the value of his contract, and the remaining 19.5 million riyals from the total value of the contract."

The committee announced the suspension of the player from local and international participations from the date of the decision.

It also punished Al Hilal with a ban on contracting new players for two periods, starting from the first registration period after the decision was issued.

Kno and Al Hilal can appeal the decision within 30 days.

Al Hilal is second in the league with 49 points from 23 games, 11 points behind the leaders Al Ittihad, which played 25 games.

Al-Nassr comes third and has 48 points from 25 matches.

Al Hilal plays its first postponed match when it hosts Al Fayhaa tomorrow.
