As one of the warm-up races for the 20th anniversary of the Xiamen Marathon, this OK RUN • Jimei Station is also one of a series of activities in Xiamen to promote the construction of a pilot city for national sports consumption.
It is hosted by Xiamen Sports Bureau and Xiamen Municipal Leading Group Office for Promoting National Sports Consumption Pilot City Construction, undertaken by Jimei District Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Jimei District Committee of the Communist Youth League, and operated by Xiamen Wenguang Sports Co., Ltd.

With the theme of "Youth Jimei·Qingxiang Joyful Movement", the event is divided into a 10-kilometer public group and a 3-kilometer parent-child group. It starts from Jimei Xincheng Civic Square and passes through Xinglin Bay Greenway around the Lake, Water Square, Sea Bike Path and other scenery, the track. One side is the modern high-rise commercial buildings in Jimei New Town, and the other side is the unique Jiageng style building complex. The contestants run all the way to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xinglin Bay and feel the construction achievements of Jimei's "high-quality, high-value, cross-island development of the most beautiful urban area". .
This event perfectly combines sports and leisure and entertainment. There are areas such as children's Spartan experience camps on site, so that the public can participate in various supporting activities, and further enhance the inclusiveness, interaction and richness of the activities.

Xiamen Marathon Series OK RUN was founded at the end of 2020, with the positioning of "Xiamen for all people, Xiamen horses for the whole city", aiming to link the six districts inside and outside Xiamen Island, drive the development of sports economy and national fitness sports in various districts in Xiamen, and help Xiamen " The construction of the first batch of sports consumption pilot cities".
