After two straight losses, Jämtland was more or less forced to win the third Swedish Championship final against Norrköping so that the golden chance would not feel too remote.

They also took command early and were able to grab a points lead during the first half, not so much thanks to an impressive offensive - it was rather that the visitors shot really badly, both from the penalty throw and three-point line.

In the third period, the shot quality dropped further, it was missed a lot despite many open positions in both directions.

Something Jämtland could live with as they had a relatively reassuring lead from the half-time break.

It all ended with Jämtland being able to take home the match with 77-61 after never being really bad out.

Norrköping did not manage to put any pressure on the home team, towards the end it looked abandoned, and now it is reduced in the match series, 1-2.

Norrköping's Felix Terins was self-critical after the loss.

- It was very selfish, especially from my side, I play out of our game and will try to do everything myself so I take on this loss completely.

We knew it would be tough to get up here and felt somewhere that we had to play as a team today to get away with a win and we did not succeed, says Terins to SVT Sport.

The next match is played on Tuesday, also in Östersund.

SVT broadcasts as usual starting at 6.30 pm.
