Isabella and Rasmus Wranå had impressed at the WC.

They finished second in the basic round and thus reached the quarterfinals.

But there it stopped.

The Swedes started with a two-pointer, but already in the next round they turned the German pair consisting of Pia-Lisa Schöll and Klaudius Harsch.

Then the Swedes played stably and looked to go on, but in the seventh round they suddenly fell 4-0.

They still managed to take a two-pointer in the eighth round and thus the quarterfinals went to the arbitration round.

It was a real thriller, but Germany took advantage of the fact that they had the last stone and eventually won 11-8. 

Germany now face Scotland in the semifinals.
