"The International Swimming Federation has reviewed Mr. Rylov's participation in the Russian Swimming Championships and will not take any further action," the press service said in a statement.

Recall that FINA opened a disciplinary case against a 25-year-old swimmer for participating in a concert-rally on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia.

The nine-month disqualification of the athlete is counted from April 20.

Later, the head of the All-Russian Swimming Federation, Vladimir Salnikov, said that Rylov would be able to take part in the Russian championship.

Competitions are held in Kazan from 24 to 29 April.

Earlier, Vladimir Salnikov spoke about a possible change of citizenship by Russian athletes.
