Nasser Larguet and OM, it's over.

Olympique de Marseille announced on Monday that its director of the training center, Nasser Larguet, resigned from his post for "personal reasons".

Appointed in July 2019, from Caen, the Franco-Moroccan had replaced André Villas Boas on an interim basis after his resignation in March 2021. He notably launched the young Bamba Dieng during his six games at the head of the first team.

"Olympique de Marseille respects this decision and would like to thank Nasser for his contribution for nearly three years to the young people of the training center but also to the professional team," said the club.

It remains to be seen who will succeed Nasser Larguet as director of the training center, one of the areas of development desired by President Pablo Longoria.
