Barely a week ago, Johan Garpenlöv left the national team gathering in Halmstad for a personal reason.
But now he is back before the Czech Hockey Games which starts on Thursday.
- We continue our journey towards the hockey World Cup, and our squad gets better every week, Garpenlöv says in a press release.
New players joining the squad are Max Friberg, Fredrik Olofsson, Elmer Söderblom and Henrik Tömmernes.
Czech Hockey Games are played in Vienna and Ostrava, where Sweden meets Austria, the Czech Republic and Finland.
- Now the level of resistance is also raised a notch;
Norway and Denmark are good hockey teams, but it is a step towards meeting Finland and the Czech Republic.
It will also be valuable to play against the upcoming World Cup opponent Austria, says Johan Garpenlöv.
