But it started anything but good for Chelsea.

The home team Tottenham took the lead after a quarter through an own goal by Sophie Ingle.

The league leader, however, responded quickly and equalized twelve minutes later after a goal by Norwegian Guro Reiten.

Then it got heavier again.

Chelsea goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger ran over Spurs striker Rachel Williams outside the penalty area and received a red card immediately.

Bethany England was sacrificed to bring Zecira Musovic between the posts.

And Musovic held tight - and got to see his team win the match 3-1 after goals from Samantha Kerr and Jessie Fleming.

The other two Swedes, Magdalena Eriksson and Jonna Andersson, were substituted at the break in the 70th minute respectively.

And Andersson only needed to be on the field for a few minutes before she served Kerr to the 2-1 goal.

Fleming's 3-1 goal was high quality and came in stoppage time.

With a loss of points, Chelsea had lost the league lead later on Sunday - because Arsenal, in second place in the table, won 3-0 away against Everton.

But with the victory, Chelsea is still one point ahead.

For Arsenal, Stina Blackstenius played from the start, but was replaced in the 65th minute.

Both Nathalie Björn and Hanna Bennison took a place in Everton's starting eleven and played for 90 minutes, but without getting a hole in the opposing team.

After today's matches, three rounds of the league game remain.
