Saint-Etienne and Monaco match resumed after being suspended due to fireworks

Saint Etienne's match against Monaco in Ligue 1 resumed at 2100 local time (1900 GMT) after being interrupted in the second half after fireworks ignited in the stands of Geoffrey Gichard Stadium on Saturday.

Referee Bastien Desby asked the players to leave the field in the 67th minute when Monaco were leading 3-1.

The match resumed after stopping for about an hour after a meeting between the referee and the officials.
