One point in the Swedish Championship final was all that was needed for Falun's Alexander Galante Carlström to beat the Finnish floorball legend Mika Kohonen's record of 1055 points.

Already after just over two minutes of play, the 33-year-old had a golden opportunity to open the scoring in the final against Kalmarsund but shot outside.

Falun looked long to go goalless in the first period, but with 20 seconds left, the goal came - from Galante Carlström's club.

Emil Lundmark served Galante Carlström who could send in 1-1 and score his 1056th point.

Something that made him take over the throne as the king of points in Swedish floorball.

- Of course, it feels great to be able to write it already in the first period, but it does not matter if we do not win the gold.

So I ignore it right now, but after the match it might get better, says the new record holder in the first period break.

In the second period, Galante Carlström then scored his second goal of the match and put his Falun in the driver's seat.

Falun eventually won the match 5-4, after an art goal from Emil Ruud.
