Exciting day awaits from the Croatian World Rally Championship, today with eight special stages on the schedule.

You follow two of the routes directly on SVT during the day.

Oliver Solberg and map reader Elliott Edmondson unfortunately got off to a really heavy start to the day with a crash on the first leg of the morning.

Both are reported to be OK.

We will return with info about Solberg as soon as we know more.

08.30 - 09.30 SVT2 / Play Rally WC Croatia

Route 18 Zagorska Sela - Kumrovec 1, 14.09 kilometers.

The first run-through on what is later the rally's Power stage.

13.00 - 14.30 SVT1 / Play Rally-VM Croatia

Route 20 Zagorska Sela - Kumrovec 1, 14.09 kilometers.

Runs for the second time, the last leg of the rally.

In addition, Power stage with valuable bonus points at stake.

Results after the eight stages of the Friday stage.

Kalle Rovanperä is in the lead, the 21-year-old Finn has impressed throughout the day and took 6 of 8 distance victories.

1. Kalle Rovanperä

2. Thierry Neuville + 1.04.0

3. Ott Tänak +1.23.3 (+19.3)

Oliver Solberg advanced in the afternoon to a fifth place in the total.

20-year-old Solberg finished strong and noted third time on ss7 and then had fourth time on the last leg of the day.

Solberg is five.

Most rallies Oliver S drives are "learn" ...

When does the degree to be a "rally driver" really take place?

The step up in the WRC is big and right here in Croatia, the majority of all drivers drove last year.

But Oliver and Elliott have had to start from scratch with notes and so on.

Strong to lie five after the day, especially with the difficult weather conditions today.
